Hi Everyone, some updates on our successes this year
In 3 Counties competitions, Jenny Winder, Alan Penfold & Eric Phillips won the Charity Day Triples.
Finals will be held on Saturday 16th September at Holloway Hill
Leo is playing in the Singles, Kate & Mark Fyfield are in the Pairs, and David Cooper, Leo (sub) & Luke May will play in the Triples final
We also have a team in the final of the Presidents Cup in the afternoon.
The B&D Competitions finals were held last weekend at Oakley.
Adam won the Champion of champions, Leo won the singles, but unfortunately our triples team Reece, Danny & Shilly and Fours Leo, Nick Hardy Luke and Chloe lost their games.
Alton Social were victorious in the Hants & Berks Trophy.
In the County Finals held at Bannister Park Margaret won the ladies Singles, also the pairs with Hazel and the triples with Hazel & Lesley. Earlier, they had won the senior fours with Alice.
Alton Social also were victorious in the Mixed Top Club Competition.
These are fantastic achievements for all of the players and for the club. Congratulations to all.
Club Finals began on Tuesday this week
Our winners so far are David Cooper won the Charlie Porter Trophy against Reece Graham
Margaret Holden & Prue Pointer won against Cheryl Ekblad & Hazel Marke in the Ladies Pairs
The Finals will continue this weekend and will be as follows (weather permitting)
On Friday 15th September @ 5.00pm 
Nick Anderson v Leo May in the Handicap Singles
David Cooper & Bill McEwan v Danny Brown & James Shillingford in Men’s Pairs
On Saturday 16th September @ 1.00pm
Leo May v Reece Graham in Men’s Championship
Aki Atkins v Bill McEwan in the Novice Singles
On Sunday 17th September @ 10.00am
Margaret Holden v Caroline Goodeve in Ladies Championship
Danny Brown & Jenny Winder v Aki Atkins & Leo May (sub) in the Open Pairs
Gary C Johnson v David Cooper in the Sylvia Stean Trophy

NOTE: The green closes after these finals, unless weather interrupts finals games and games need to be reorganised.
