I sent an email earlier regarding a spring clean of the Bowls club and the surrounds. The scheduled time was week beginning 13th April for the clubhouse and patio, and this week for the gardens.

In the clubhouse, there is a list of cleaning jobs that need to be done, both inside and outside of the club.

If you have a couple of hours to spare and can help out please pop in and tick which jobs you have done. If we all can do a little bit this all helps.

After a poor response last weekend, this Sunday 13th we are having another session working on the surrounds from 10 0’clock till noon.

If you want to come before that then I’m informed that sweeping the messy bits off the banks with a brush and dustpan or weeding the shingle areas by the yew trees would be appreciated.
