Leamington Update
In the Walker cup Hampshire ladies lost in the final to the reigning champions Devon. Lesley, Alice, Hazel and Margaret won this afternoon against Nottinghamshire and now play tomorrow at 9 o’clock against Warwickshire in the last 16. Unfortunately Danny lost his quarter final Para singles match against Leicestershire. (16/8)

Hants & Berks Results
Team were successful in their semi-final match against Old Basing but lost to a strong Basingstoke Town team in the final.
President’s Cup
Victory in semi-final against Clanfield by 53-16. Final is on 13th September.
Stan Hardman League
Team have qualified with the most points and best shot difference across all divisions, for Q/F on 20th August against Howard Park Saints, who were runner up in area 4. Venue not yet known.
Para Open Singles
Best wishes to Danny Brown, who has reached the last 16 and next plays at Leamington on Sunday 16th August at 9.00am.
Gazette Cup Result
Congratulations to our team who beat Old Basing 52-45 in the semi-final and then went on to beat Howard Park in the final 61-46 to become Champions.

The Graham Brooks Mixed Aussie Pairs BBQ and Social
SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER
This is an all day charity event which is also a celebration of the end
of our outdoor season.
Please sign up below to take part. The draw for partners will happen
on the day, ideally it will be one lady and one man in each team.
Please arrive to register by 9:30 for a 10am start. The entrance fee is
£2 per person which will go to club funds.
There will be round robin matches in leagues during the
morning/early afternoon followed by semi finals and a final in the
afternoon. As well as a 3 rd place playoff.
Even if you don’t want to play, do come along to support the players
and stay for the BBQ (sign up below). The BBQ will cost around £10
per person for a burger and a sausage in rolls with onions and
coleslaw and a dessert or two!!
If you can donate a prize for the raffle, that will be greatly
appreciated.
All proceeds from the food and the raffle will be donated to what
was Graham’s favourite local charity “Abby’s Heroes” who support
children, teenagers and young adults (and their families) who have
been diagnosed with cancer and receive treatment at Southampton
Hospital.
Friends and families are also welcome to join us for the BBQ. Just
add numbers by your name on the list below and indicate any special
dietary requirements.
