Congratulations to London and Southern Counties Mixed 4s winners, Kate Fyfield, Claire Flannigan, Richie Burgin and Mark Fyfield. Also to Kate and Claire who won the Ladies Pairs.

Commiserations to Jayne Christie in the Singles final and to Lesley Johnson, Alice Atwell, (sub for Kate), Hazel Marke and Margaret Holden, who were beaten in the County Fours final.

Congratulations to team, who won their final match 5-0 to win the League by 2.5 points.

A reminder that the end of the season celebration – The Graham Brooks Aussie Pairs Competition and BBQ is fast approaching.

So far I have 9 ladies and 6 men signed up to play.  More would be great!

Huge thanks to everyone who played in the Stan Hardman league this season.
We played 12 matches and won 11 of them.
Sadly today was not our day and we were beaten 4 points to 3 in a fairly tight match against Fleet United Swans – which only slipped from our grasp in the last few ends.
But we still finish the season as Area 1 League Champions.

Special thanks to Graham Sampson who stepped in to sub for us during the course of the match today following Jenny’s eye injury.  Hope that heals quickly Jenny.

So Fleet United Swans will play Aldermaston in the Trophy final next Thursday afternoon.
