County 2 Wood Singles
ASBC have all FOUR northern area finalists winners, with success for Margaret Holden, Hazel Marke, Richard Burgin and Matt Carr. The finals are at Banister Park next Monday evening 8th July.

Victory in Mixed Top Club
ASBC achieved a 4-1 victory against Basingstoke Town and have now reached Area Final on 10th August, 10.00am against Kingsclere at Cove.

Gardening Group
Hi All
It is essential we form a gardening group to upkeep the surrounds to our green.
It is not right or possible for Lesley to do all the work necessary to keep the gardens to the high standard she and Gary acheved.
I will be joining the Group but we need help. Please step forward and contact me so i can get us all together with Lesley to understand how we can best help her. Like the greenkeeping group we can plan then split the work so much is done on a manageable time input.

Cleaning Rota
Hello everyone,
Earlier in the season you all volunteered to help out cleaning the club for a week.
Please find below the rota we have drawn up. This runs from a Sunday to Saturday. If you can’t make your week please contact the others on the rota to arrange a swap.
Cleaning consists of sweeping and mopping all floors windowsills. Cleaning Kitchen and bench tops. Cleaning loos etc replenishing stock such as paper towels and loo rolls.
Empty all bins including those outside, and take rubbish home with you.
You shouldn’t need to be cleaning every day of your week but please check on supplies.

Housekeeping
Dear Members,
A few points that were discussed at the latest committee meeting.
Thanks to all who came the other week for cleaning, we managed to get through all the jobs on our list.
Flo had put out a sheet asking for volunteers to do cleaning in the club for one week in the season, although you will probably only need to do one day in the week and just keep a check on supplies etc. for the rest of the week.
Some members didn’t realise the sheet was there so I am now requesting that if you have not yet volunteered and you wish to help in cleaning the club could you please let me know as soon as possible so that we can create a rota. You won’t be working alone as we usually have 2 people each week.
Can I remind all dog owners that dogs must be kept on a short lead within the club grounds and preferably not under the canopy of the patio.
Also if you have a competition to be played at home please check the website for rink availability before offering dates to your opponent.
Members should not book a rink for a casual roll up. If you wish to have a roll up please again check the website for rink availability and come and roll up.

RINK BOOKING
When you book a rink on our website via the booking page. Could you please on the line Player 1* enter your name plus the competition name, this will then show on the overview so we can all see who booked the rink and what competition you are playing in.
Florence and I did this for all the league and friendly games at the start of the season so you know which home games are being played and when, this is handy for those wanting to watch specific games, thanks. Hope this helps all members, sorry for not explaining this at the start of the season.
