Greenkeeper

Hi everyone,
As you may know John Fensom is having a hip replacement this April, and therefore he is unable to cut the grass this year on a Wednesday morning. John has done a great job for many years but even John cannot cut the grass on one leg. I therefore need a replacement person to work with Denny to cut the grass on a Wednesday morning starting at about 8:30am to 9:00 finishing at about 10:30 or 11:00.

I would prefer the same person all season starting in April, but we could manage with a few people taking turns if no-one can commit to every week, so please advise if you can help and if you can do most weeks (excluding hols) or just a few occasionally.

Regards
Kenneth Ward

Aussie Pairs 2023

Firstly, many thanks from all the competitors for the organisation of the event by Patricia Brooks and Bill McEwan, who as a pair were unlucky to lose to a last end wick in the Spoon Competition semi-final.

The main final was won by Gilli Fermager and Anthony LaFrenais in a closely fought final, (5-3), against Eric Phillips and Hazel Marke. The losing semi-finalists were Sandy Crocker and Graham Brooks and Angie Knight and Nick Anderson.

The new Spoon Competition final, for those players who did not make the main competition semi-finals, was between Lewis Fernyhough and Mehdi Akkouh who overcame Phil Cretch and Marjorie Rowledge in their semi-final and Clare Allen and John Kellow. Clare and John winning 10-3.
