Congratulations to Ladies who defeated Banister Park at Meon Valley today, (10/8), to reach National Finals at Leamington. This success followed a defeat by 2 shots in the Thornbery this morning.
Greenkeeper
As many of you already know I have been trying to get a head greenskeeper to take over my role for the past few years. Unfortuneatly I have had no volunteers so I am now retiring from this role next year at some point, and the club will have to organise a contractor to carry out my role.
If anyone is interested in doing the job, I am still willing to train them and act as an advisor to help them take over if required, as mentioned before, the previous time I did this role with Pat Hobbs we both worked full time so it is not a job just for retired people.
If you want to learn more about the role please ask me and we can discuss before you decide.

Does anyone know a person who can fix sprinkler systems, ours has just packed in, it is not pressuring the system. I will have another look at it over the weekend, but if anyone can help let me know in case I need them.

Unfortunately, Dave Thurgood and Richie Burgin lost this morning but Caroline Goodeve and Kay Stockley progressed through to the afternoon, where they were defeated by a home pair. Congratulations go to Kate Fyfield and Alice Atwell, who progressed throughout the day and now play at Leamington.
